This data shows a pattern of fairly low female representation across almost all levels of Indonesian government, averaging around 18%. The lowest point is at the Village Head level (6.6%), while the highest is among DPR RI Legislative Candidates (37.1%). Interestingly, the trend for the DPR’s AKD (Council Apparatus) leadership actually declined—dropping to just 6.7% in the 2014–2019 period—before rising again to 20% in the 2024–2029 term.
