PUSKAPOL UI, in collaboration with MAMPU and supported by DFAT, organized a policy design training program aimed specifically at MAMPU partners across several regions.
The training is designed to:
- Serve as a shared learning process to better understand the formal procedures of policymaking, including laws and regional regulations, in line with existing legal frameworks, as well as the political dimensions involved in their implementation.
- Increase participants’ awareness that policy advocacy is inherently a political process, one that requires a clear understanding of civil society mapping and the interests of key policy actors.
- Strengthen participants’ capacity to prepare policy papers as part of influencing decision makers and safeguarding the policy deliberation process.
