Efforts to promote women’s representation and leadership in various strategic public positions remain a shared priority. Despite the range of affirmative measures that have been introduced, it is clear that significant challenges persist in creating a more inclusive social and political environment that upholds gender equality. One of these challenges is evident in the representation of women within election management bodies.
